Award Announcement

We are excited to announce that one of our very own, Maria Quintanilla, LCSW, Founder and CEO, has been selected to receive the “2019 Adoption Excellence Award” in the category Individuals/Professionals; a prestigious award given nationally to only 12 recipients during the Children’s Bureau Celebration of National Adoption Awareness Month at Washington, DC. This is a testament to not only her Leadership but also our continued success. The award was established by the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in 1997 to recognize outstanding accomplishments in achieving permanency for America’s children waiting in foster care. The award has honored States, child welfare agencies, organizations, courts, businesses, individuals, and families.

Please join me in congratulating Maria in earning a richly deserved award for her extraordinary contributions and many years of service to improving adoption and other permanency outcomes for children in foster care.
